For us Japanese, which foreign language to learn and whether to improve our skills to the level where we can use it as a tool depends on our respective positions and environments.
Adding one of the foreign languages to one's native language, Japanese, or being able to operate two languages in terms of numbers, is simply twice as effective, and business opportunities can be imagined to be doubled ・・・・. In reality, we may be blessed with more than twice the benefits, joy, and opportunities.
At the beginning of this book, I wrote as follows.
You do not need to spend money to improve your English. You do not need to go to a foreign country (study abroad). You do not need to have a foreigner by your side. You do not need a foreign English teacher. All you need is the will to find a way to study English that suits you and to continue your efforts in a fun way. It does not matter how bad you were at English in school when young. If you are basically proficient in Japanese, you will surely be proficient in English as well.
If you make good use of the benefits of today's science and technology, such as Skype, video phone, and the Internet, including e-mail, you will understand the meaning of this statement.
