In addition to knowledge and ability, tutors in the tutoring business need to have the right age without a big generation gap, the patience not to chase after scale, and the passion to be willing to provide face-to-face instruction.

　I began the computer-based tutoring in 1993, when I was 45 years old because I felt that I was losing the above conditions. Even at a time when computer performance was not yet high, the entire system, including agency fees, cost about 3 million yen.

　As expected, few students used this compute-based learning system, which required self-management by the students themselves, and the company that sold me the system, Lines itself, was merged by the security company SECOM and failed in business. We had a very hard time without having the rights money backed as a distributor.

　It is very hard to keep paying for expensive and useless products. Please be careful.

　It is very important not to cut corners on your work. The job of running a cram school cannot be done by a machine. It can only be done well with face-to-face instruction by instructors who have the knowledge, ability, youth, and passion to get the job done.

　Thanks to these mistakes, we are fortunate that we have not repeated the same mistakes in our Setsuden-mushi development & sales business.
